The Kitchen & Hall

A large country style kitchen, with all modern equipment, gas stove, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, flat screen television.

A large country style kitchen, fully equipped for cooking, eating and making drinks including a coffee maker. There is plenty of storage in pantry style cupboards. The kitchen is through a wide arch from the hall and is very large with space to cook and seat 12 at a monastery style table. There is a room for an additional table to extend the kitchen table to seat up to 20.

The kitchen has a large authentic kitchen fireplace adding atmosphere to the room. Stairs lead from the kitchen down to the walled garden or games room by the pool, up to one of the double bedrooms and through the hall to the Veranda where coffee or drinks may be enjoyed overlooking the grounds.. The kitchen has large shuttered windows through which the view of the grounds may be appreciated and allows the sunshine and natural light to flood in.

The hall is large with a dresser, there is a bench, a coat rack and plenty of room for shoes/boots and outdoor wear. There is a downstairs lavatory.

The Lounge & Dining Room

The lounge is cool in the summer and with a fire in the amazing fireplace warm and atmospheric in the cooler months.

The Lounge leads off the hall, two large leather sofa’s with reclining feet rests, and other chairs to comfortable sit 12 people.

The main feature is the 13th century fireplace which you can almost walk in to. A great room to sit and relax, read or play games together. The large double windows let natural light in and looks out on to the Veranda.

For a more formal occasion, you can use the dining room.

The Dining room leads off the lounge through a large arch. The furniture is in keeping and there is a delightful dresser.

From the dining room a doorway leads on to the terrace that surrounds the house to either access outdoor eating or the grounds.
